MCA Sydney

I went to the MCA in Sydney on Anzac day and it was truly an amazing experience.
Video was well represented, Simryn Gill's Black & White Photos were beautiful and there was a lie down "cloud" room that attracted kids as well as grown ups that needed to rest their backs for a bit. Also Fiona Hall's soap carvings were a positive surprise.
Overall, the collection underlined the fact that Australia is'nt all about Aboriginal Art - and that was a very welcomed surprise to a European schooled Art Historian like me.
